Basic Info BioName [Location]: Vilnius
Name [Human]: Vytautas Laurinaitis
Age: 16 apparent, 621 actual
Appearance: Vilnius is tall at 5'10", with pale skin and a build that can best be described as scrawny. His eyes are a piercing shade of grass-green. His hair is short, messy, and brown, although a few blond highlights shine through here and there. He tends to dress in much the same fashion as Lithuania, simple green uniforms being his norm, although when he dresses casually he tends towards long-sleeved shirts in solid colors and thick jeans.
Personality: Most people upon meeting Vilnius consider him to just be a brat. He's slow to trust and quick to accuse, and tends to think that most people are out to get him or Lithuania. He has a special hatred for Poland, and will frequently rant about how much he hates the nation. His paranoia and anger grate on most.
However, if he does open up to you, Vilnius reveals a cultured, artistic side that's rarely seen. He loves reading poetry and trying to write his own, and a few well-written lines could win at least part of his heart. Art in general appeals to him, and he spends a lot of his time in museums and galleries. He also has a soft spot for Lithuania, and will defend the man to great lengths.
The reason for this disconnect is simple: Vilnius is afraid. Terrified, in fact. He's been separated too many times from Lithuania, and just as many times he's been there as he and Lithuania suffered together. While things seem to have stabilized, he's still always afraid that someone will try to rip him and Lithuania apart, and so he's defensive and paranoid in order to protect himself and the country that he wants to stay part of. He's horribly insecure and constantly nervous, and the anger helps him hide that and keeps him strong, at least on the surface.
